Born in Caracas, Venezuela, at the age of 14 Valeria Escalona moved with her family to a city north of London called Milton Keynes. Valeria joyfully studied Graphic Design at the University of London College of Communication, in which she really liked the packaging part. The latest brought her to Barcelona to study a Master in Branding and Packaging that would eventually lead Valeria to the creative studio where she currently works full time. Valeria has always showed interest in kawaii and cartoons, which has greatly influenced her illustration style. Her drawings are minimalistic and clean and maintain a smooth and very pleasant to the eye pastel palette. Her characters shine with ingenious emotions, smile and blink to you and speak love. Valeria says that her cat and her iPad are her faithful professional partners. We hope they do not miss her much while she is traveling to Mercury!
