Tia Nagaraj is an illustrator born and raised in Bangalore, India. She has completed her BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, with great ambitions of coming back and making it big in a city she quickly called home. With a great variety of personal and professional interests, Tia found in the illustration a beautiful skill that has opened doors to fashion, animation, film and more. Her style is versatile by design, even within the separate realms of digital and traditional media. Tia’s work has a strong graphic sensibility, tending towards bold compositions and iconic solutions, and employing photography where needed. One of her exquisite strengths is in coming up with ideas, and turning complex written or verbal concepts into simple images.

The Trembling Giant, an enormous grove of quaking aspens, this is a single organism. Those trunks root us all coming from the Earth. We experience connections in a fleeting and beautiful way in our lifetimes. This is the journey of meeting and unmeeting souls. This is the path of a definite start and an ultimate end.

The Future is bright. I love going to the woods with my phone, and to swim to the middle of the ocean. I catch fishes and learnt to drink water with a couple of gadgets in my hands. Cheers!
