A greatly talented Mexican illustrator and designer, Fernanda Fierro was trained at the Faculty of Arts and Design at UNAM in Mexico City. Her brilliant delicate work is characterized by the use of vibrant textures and radiant colors which give life to her mysterious characters. Constantly seeking to adapt her style to the diverse mediums and to capture the way she feels and sees the world, she aims to connect with a spectator on a deep level. Fernanda signs under the name "Muertísima" and is excited about the idea of becoming one day inspiration for young creators like her.

This illustration is inspired by the work of REMEDIOS VARO and brings together different elements of her work. I mainly wanted to represent the creative woman from the "Papilla Estelar". Setting her in the environment of the forest, I marry two worlds, the dream-like and the earthly.
