The Spark by José Ventura

José Ventura was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, a warm heaven with friendly faces and too much sun. Although his professional education was developed in literature and in the writing of narratives, somewhere along the way he fell in love with drawing. The dream to become an artist never faded away as he grew older. He started out as a self-taught graphic designer experimenting with diverse projects, from commercial design to political communication oriented and social causes works. Eventually he found in illustration a medium that allowed him to combine his taste for graphics and his knowledge of narrative. To this day he continues to learn ways to crosspolinate these two disciplines to tell drawn stories on Earth and from Space.

Although a spark is just a tiny particle of extremely short duration, its incandescent nature should not be underestimated, turning it into an irrepressible fire. It requires only the kind blessing of coincidence or the incendiary curiosity of an orator who dares to say the unexpected!
